What is the debt collection procedure for exceptional cases?

Here's some more useful information:

What should I do if someone took a loan in my name?

If you suspect that your personal information has been misused or stolen, we ask you to report it to the police. Following the initiation of criminal proceedings, please send us the official document as proof. We will then be able to suspend the debt collection proceedings for the duration of the criminal proceedings.

Please note: To protect your account and identity we release information under the following two conditions:

1. We may release information to you as a potential victim after we have identified you. To do this, please send us a digitally signed official application for the transfer of data (list of requested data) and a copy of your identity document (ID card or passport).

2. We provide information to the police upon their request if they have identified you, registered your report of the crime, and submitted the documentation to the creditor (us). When we receive an official request from the police regarding your case, we will provide them with the necessary information about the loan(s) taken in your name in encrypted form.

What should I do if my late family member had a loan with Bondora?

In the event of death, we ask family members to send a death certificate of the customer to Bondora Customer Service, as well as a certificate of inheritance, if there is one. According to the document, we can issue the information about the loan balance. If there is no certificate of inheritance, we recommend that you first contact a Notary Public and start the inheritance procedure.
